Description

The Department of Defense, including the Defense Health Agency, is establishing a computerized matching program comparing records for the Military Health Benefits—TRICARE Pharmacy Program (TPharm) with the Treasury Department’s Do Not Pay Working System. The program is intended to verify prepayment or pre-award eligibility and identify and prevent improper payments. Matched data may include names, Social Security or taxpayer identification numbers, addresses, dates of birth, and payment or banking information. Comments are accepted through November 13, 2026; the program is scheduled to take effect after the comment period and remain effective through September 10, 2029.
