STUART CO., OEMETA, CASTROL, BIOBLEND RENEWABLE RESOURCES LLC, BLASER SWISSLUBE, INC., CIMCOOL FLUID TECHNOLOGY, and others listed below. - Notable fabrication requirements: Provide dimensional inspection reports. EDM requires prior SLAC approval; sanding discs, grinding wheels, abrasives, sulfur-containing cutting fluids, and silicone lubricants are prohibited. Parts must be cleaned before welding. Electropolishing is required for DSG-000098971, DSG-000106241, DSG-000106252, and DSG-000106275. SLAC will clean DSG-000055232 and PF-375-108-45. - Approved machining fluids: Specification SC-700-866-47 names specific acceptable fluids for high-vacuum component machining; only the exact listed products are approved, and applicable SLAC cleaning procedures apply. ECOCUTBASE 44 LVC requires special cleaning and approval from the responsible SLAC engineer. These fluids are listed as approved materials, not separately quantified purchase items. - The purchase is for products only; on-site services are not permitted. Description

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions.

Technical evaluation criteria are as follows: This is a UHV (Ultra-High Vacuum) component. As such, the following restrictions apply: EDM machining is NOT allowed without prior approval by SLAC The use of sanding discs, grinding wheels or abrasives is prohibited The use of sulfur-containing cutting fluids and silicone lubricants is prohibited All parts must be cleaned before welding

Buy American Act Certification (BAA) applies to items that have a unit price that is over $15,000. Representations & Certifications Rider is required. Once completed the Reps and Certs is valid for one year until renewal. If you have already completed one within the year please disregard. Otherwise, please complete and return. Please include in your proposals the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS Code) & ECCN if applicable. All subcontractors are required to register in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov). The resulting purchase order will be issued on a fixed price basis. SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory Terms and Conditions for Fixed Price Commercial Supplies and Services (Rev. August 2023) and SLAC General Terms and Conditions Supplemental Rider (Rev. August 2026) will be made a part of the resulting order. Payment Terms will be NET-30 (SLAC is unable to do advance payments and or Prepayments). Freight terms will be FOB Destination Prepaid and Add Foreign Vendors Shipments will be made CIP SLAC, Menlo Park, and Duty Unpaid.
