The buyer is California DGS. - Agreement limits: Each of the three regional agreements may have a maximum value of $5,000,000; the potential combined maximum is $15,000,000. Work will be assigned as needed, and neither task orders nor use of the maximum value are guaranteed. - Notable requirements: Work must be performed under the responsible oversight and approval of professionals licensed in California. Relevant qualifications include experience with State Fire Marshal and Division of the State Architect requirements, LEED and zero-net-energy work, and public-works bidding and construction support. The Department of General Services is seeking qualifications from firms to provide mechanical engineering services on an as-needed basis for projects throughout California. Services may include design and engineering support for new, addition, renovation, and remodel projects, as well as bidding and construction support. The state plans to establish separate retainer agreements for three geographic regions; each agreement may be for up to five years with a maximum total value of $5,000,000, and there is no guarantee of task orders. Work must be performed under and approved by a responsible party licensed in California.
