The Inland Empire Regional Composting Authority is seeking contractors to transport finished compost from its regional facility and provide onsite shuttling when requested. - Government buyer: Inland Empire Regional Composting Authority (IERCA), through its Contracts & Procurement function. Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) and Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts are also identified as facility operators. - OEMs and vendors: No OEMs or transportation vendors are named in the provided materials. - Finished compost transportation: Provide drivers and suitable straight trucks, tractor-trailers—including side-dump, end-dump, belt-trailer, and walking-floor equipment—truck-and-transfer rigs, and/or doubles. The anticipated service share is approximately 15%–25% of facility production, against roughly 20,000 cubic yards produced monthly; this is an estimated service volume, not a fixed purchase quantity. - Deliveries may be within 20 miles or between 21 and 350 miles. Requested rate locations include Blythe, Bakersfield, Las Vegas, and Phoenix, with a fuel-surcharge schedule. - The contractor supplies and operates the vehicles; facility staff load them and provide weight tickets and destination information. Vehicles must arrive empty, and full trailers must be removed before the end of the business day. Equipment may not be left onsite overnight without prior written permission. - Onsite shuttling: Provide onsite movement of finished compost when directed by facility staff; pricing is requested by the hour. - Contract term: Anticipated initial term of five years, with up to two additional one-year extensions, for a possible maximum term of seven years. The anticipated start is in early 2027; no end date is stated.
