The SEC notice concerns Cboe EDGA Exchange, Inc.’s proposed program for distributing its Cboe One market data feeds; it is a regulatory matter, not a government purchase. - Government agency: Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). - OEM/data provider: Cboe EDGA Exchange, Inc. The feeds involved are Cboe One Summary and Cboe One Premium. - The proposal would define “Data Vendor,” set eligibility requirements for external distributors, and waive certain external distribution fees for eligible vendors. - It would also codify the definition of “Extranet Service Provider” and clarify that distributors taking both feeds would pay only the Cboe One Premium external distribution fee, subject to applicable offsets. - No products or services are being requested for purchase; there are no quantities, part numbers, or contract performance period.
Description
Cboe EDGA Exchange, Inc. proposes a rule change to introduce a Data Vendor Program for external distributors of the Cboe One Summary and Cboe One Premium market data feeds. The proposal establishes a definition and eligibility criteria for Data Vendors, codifies the definition of Extranet Service Provider, and clarifies external distribution fee treatment when distributors take both feeds. The program would provide fee waivers for eligible Data Vendors to encourage development and commercial availability of the feeds. The Securities and Exchange Commission published the notice to solicit comments on the proposed rule change.
