ATF proposes continuing information collection for restricted 922(o) machine gun requests

Description

The Department of Justice, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), is extending without change a previously approved information collection for the Request for Restricted 922(o) Machine Gun (National Firearms Act), ATF Form 5320.24. The form is filed by Federal Firearms Licensees who have paid the special occupational tax to import, manufacture, deal in, or transfer an NFA firearm to a similarly qualified licensee. It also supports ATF Form 3 applications by law enforcement authorities requesting demonstration of restricted machineguns. Written comments are accepted until December 14, 2026.
