Description
The Federal Aviation Administration amends Jet Routes J-83 and J-85 in the eastern United States to support relocation of the Spartanburg, South Carolina VORTAC. The changes remove the route segments between Spartanburg and Appleton on J-83, and between Spartanburg and Charleston on J-85, to address conflicts with adjacent RNAV routes. The rule takes effect December 24, 2026, at 0901 UTC. Although the title references VOR Federal Airways V-415 and V-605, the final rule removes those proposed amendments.
