Bay County is seeking a contractor to rehabilitate the existing traveling-bridge sand filter at its Military Point wastewater treatment plant. - Government buyer: Board of County Commissioners of Bay County, Florida; Purchasing Department. - Location: Military Point Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. - OEM: Aqua-Aerobic Systems manufactured the existing Automatic Backwash Traveling Bridge Sand filter system. - Requested service: Rehabilitation of the existing filter system in accordance with Scope of Work Exhibit 2. Description

Bay County seeks sealed bids from qualified contractors to rehabilitate the existing Aqua-Aerobic Systems Automatic Backwash Traveling Bridge Sand filter system at its wastewater treatment facility at 100 Lagoon Road, Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. The work is to be performed in accordance with Scope of Work Exhibit 2. The prime contractor must be a Florida-licensed general contractor, and subcontractors must be licensed in their trades; awarded vendors’ employees must pass a background check. Bids are due September 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. CDT and will be publicly opened immediately afterward.
