Boone County is seeking retrofit detention hardware for the Sheriff’s Office jail cell doors. - Government buyer: Boone County Purchasing Department, for the Boone County Sheriff’s Office. - Requested quantities: 75 cuff-food ports and 75 compatible cuff-food port locks. Installation is excluded; ports must include parts needed for assembly and installation. - OEMs and referenced products: Southern Folger (SS262 port; FA/17RHRB lock), Kryptomax (KM-FPRD-100 port), and Fasco (FP-703 port). Compliant equivalents may be proposed and evaluated against the specifications. - Port requirements: Bolt-on retrofit for 1.75-inch doors; minimum 5-by-15-inch opening; heavy-gauge steel at least 12-gauge; tamper-resistant fasteners; hinged and ready for installation; stainless steel or primed for painting. - Lock requirements: Compatible with a 17/17M-type lock profile and para-cut key system. Keying alike to existing keys is preferred; if unavailable, provide three additional keys. - Warranty and term: At least a one-year warranty. The contract runs through one year or project completion, with possible month-to-month extensions up to six months. Bidders are to state delivery lead time after an order is received.
