DLA Troop Support is seeking a small quantity of tightly specified structural steel plate for a supply requirement. - Government buyer: Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), DLA Troop Support, Construction & Equipment (Metals); buyer contact: Pamela Duffey. - Requested item: 8 structural steel plates, NSN 9515-00-153-3184. - Grade A annealed, hot-rolled steel with sheared edges; each plate is 0.250 inches thick, 60 inches wide, and 240 inches long. - Material must meet MIL-S-22698C and applicable ABS requirements. Substitutes are not allowed, and the steel must come from an approved mill. - Certifications and marking: ABS surveyor endorsement on certificates and a mill-material Certificate of Quality Compliance for each shipment are required. MIL-S-22698 material must include the specified “AB” marking. - Delivery and acceptance: Delivery is required within 20 days after order. FOB origin; destination inspection and acceptance at DLA Distribution San Joaquin in Tracy, California. - OEMs and vendors: No product manufacturer or commercial vendor is named. DLA is the buyer; ABS is cited for standards and surveyor endorsement, not as the product OEM.
