Description

Amtrak is accepting Letters of Interest for the Harrisburg (HAR) Trainshed Rehabilitation project at Harrisburg Station, 4th and Chestnut Streets, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The work is intended to rehabilitate the historic trainshed and bring it to a state of good repair, with critical structural repairs to prolong its use until the full rehabilitation project can occur. Work includes selective top chord, purlin, and monitor beam replacement, tension rod installation, and selective roof repairs. Amtrak anticipates completing the repairs within Fiscal Year 2027 and expects to issue a Request for Proposal shortly after the Letter of Interest advertisement closes.
