Description

The National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) requests applications to support integrated research Centers in skin biology and diseases, bone, muscle, and orthopaedic research, and rheumatic diseases. The Centers will provide coordinated research infrastructure, shared resources, and methodological expertise to advance basic, translational, and clinical research. They are expected to integrate advanced research resources with support for clinical and translational research, including development, testing, and dissemination of analytical methods, study designs, outcome measures, and data-driven approaches. The program aims to accelerate discovery, improve research efficiency, strengthen translation of findings into health outcomes, and foster multidisciplinary collaboration and workforce development.
