Description

The North Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking bids to replace curtains in the passenger areas of its 56- and 66-seat coaches. The existing curtains, installed during the railcars’ original refurbishment for NCDOT use, are damaged and no longer available as matching replacements. The Rail Division seeks new blackout-style curtains to reduce heat infiltration through windows and improve the appearance of Piedmont train service.
