Union County is seeking a contractor to install 24 streetlights near its Simpson Events Center in Monroe, North Carolina. - Government buyer: Union County, North Carolina — Procurement and Contract Management. - Project location and scope: 307 Cultivation Cir, Monroe, NC 28112; install 24 streetlights along Cultivation Circle from Presson Road toward the Simpson Events Center, including associated electrical work. - Specified OEM and products: Cooper Area Light fixtures, model PRV-XL-C125-730-D-UNV-T4-SA-WH (24; 36,000 lumens, 264 W), and 24 round, straight, smooth aluminum poles (22 feet; Cooper or approved equal). Union County seeks to add 24 streetlights along Cultivation Circle, from Presson Road to around the Simpson Events Center at 307 Cultivation Cir, Monroe, NC 28112. The work includes construction associated with coordinating and erecting the lighting fixtures, as well as the associated electrical services. Bids are for a single-prime contract on a lump-sum basis. Electronic bids are not permitted; bidders must submit according to the instructions in the solicitation attachment.
