The City of Denton is seeking utility-grade weather forecasting services for Denton Municipal Electric (DME). - Buyer: City of Denton; Denton Purchasing is the procurement office, and DME is the service user. - Service requested: A commercial forecasting service with secure web access and, as needed, FTP/API data feeds and downloadable data such as CSV files. Description

The City of Denton is seeking proposals for utility-grade weather forecasting services for Denton Municipal Electric. Services are to include web-based access and, as needed, FTP/API data access, forecasts and weather data, historical data, and access to meteorological expertise. The scope also includes implementation, training, documentation, support, and warranty services; vendors may propose for one or more service categories, and the City may award to multiple vendors. The intended contract term is three years, with an optional extension of up to six months.
