Description
The Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas, received an application from Oil Search (Alaska), LLC, for authorization to conduct drilling and exploration activities in the Horseshoe Unit on the North Slope. The proposed work is to drill the Stirrup 2 Appraisal Well, including construction of a 24-mile ice road from Drillsite 2P, an ice pad, and staging pads.
