Frink Middle School facilities; Lenoir County Learning Academy; Rochelle Middle School; existing and potential future Woodington Middle School facilities; Kinston High; Lenoir County Early College; North Lenoir High; South Lenoir High; and the Transportation and Maintenance departments. - Service levels and technical requirements: 99.99% availability, no throttling, packet/frame loss no greater than 0.25%, latency no greater than 25 ms, and jitter no greater than 10 ms. Require 24/7/365 support, a response within two hours, and restoration within four hours. - Pricing and special conditions: Provide separate pricing for installation, construction and special construction, monthly recurring charges, applicable taxes and fees, and E-rate-eligible and ineligible costs. Price both 36- and 60-month terms. Discontinue service to the old Frink facility without early termination charges after transition and decommissioning; do not begin billing for a potential future Woodington facility until it is approved and funded. Contracting is contingent on E-rate funding.

Lenoir County Public Schools is seeking proposals for managed wide area network (WAN) services, using Metro-E or equivalent, from the district hub to eligible service locations. The RFP accepts fiber, fixed wireless, and other technologies that meet the stated requirements; dedicated symmetrical transport bandwidth is required, with capacity to scale. The planned service start date is July 1, 2027, and proposals are due November 19, 2026, according to the attached RFP. The Form 470 also lists Category 1 service requests for bandwidth from 10 to 25 Gbps and from 2 to 10 Gbps.
