Description
The procurement is to measure chloride, fluoride, iron, chromium, arsenic, lead, and cadmium concentrations in human milk samples from the MIREC cohort. The analyses will use biobanked samples and support updates to the Canadian Nutrient File and research on toxic elements in foods for infants and young children. Work will be performed at the contractor’s facility using its staff, equipment, and consumables; results and reports will be delivered electronically, and remaining biospecimens returned to the MIREC Biobank. The notice is an Advance Contract Award Notice identifying the University of Ottawa as the proposed contractor, and interested suppliers may submit a Statement of Capabilities by the closing date.
