Description
This is a two-phase Request for Qualifications for breakwater rehabilitation at Fortune, Newfoundland and Labrador. The work includes removing part of the existing breakwater and stockpiling stones for reuse, demolishing the reinforced concrete deck and wall, cutting down existing SSP cells, reinstalling reused material, and supplying and installing new armour stone. The contractor must also remove the existing navigation light in coordination with the Canadian Coast Guard and complete the work within 24 weeks of contract award. The first phase evaluates bidder qualifications; qualified bidders will be invited to submit financial bids in Phase Two. The open tender may be conditionally set aside for Indigenous businesses if at least two eligible Indigenous businesses qualify in Phase One.
