McDonald Model 720-209WDDD 33X994 or Mueller Model 236B2404-R6D05N. Valve boxes must meet City specifications and use a three-piece assembly with top Model 562S, extension Model VB-EXTN, and bottom Model VB-BASE-160. - Delivery is to the Meadow Street work site within 14 days after award, with at least 48 hours’ advance coordination with Utilities staff. Products must be new, unused, and current production; substitutions after award require the City’s written approval. The goods carry a two-year warranty. A separate delivery fee is listed as an additive and is not part of the award basis.

Description

The City of Charlottesville is requesting quotations for waterline products for an in-house watermain replacement project. The procurement includes specified pipe, fittings, valves, hydrant-related products, meter components, and other materials listed in the pricing schedule, to be delivered to the Meadow Street work site in coordination with Utilities staff. Delivery is required no later than 14 days after the Notice of Award unless the City approves otherwise. Award will be based on the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, using the Total Price on the Pricing Schedule.
