Description

The Ministry of Forests is seeking proposals to develop prescriptions for operational wildfire fuel reduction treatments in the Prince George Forest District as part of the Crown Land Wildfire Risk Reduction Program. Work includes reconnaissance to identify and describe fuel treatment units, followed by field layout and professional assessments for prescription development. The project is estimated to cover 280 hectares across three terms in Domano, Haldi, Miworth, and Upper Pidherny, with all Term 1 services due by March 31, 2027. Additional hectares or terms are subject to Ministry funding and approval.
