Charleston County School District is seeking bids for inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of its elevators and chair lifts, currently numbering 78. The work includes quarterly service, safety inspections, written reports and photographs as required, annual inspections, and repairs as needed; bidders must provide a fixed percentage discount off manufacturers’ list prices for OEM repair parts. Emergency callback service must be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with on-site response within two hours at no additional cost. The contract has a one-year base term with four one-year renewal options, for up to five years total.
