Description

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is seeking a qualified supplier to furnish and deliver 12-strand and 96-strand outdoor fiber optic cable for the Widett Layover Facility, in accordance with Specification 16749P. The requested quantities are 11,000 feet of 12-strand cable and 7,000 feet of 96-strand cable. The supplier is responsible for the cable’s design, manufacture, quality control, testing, freight, and delivery to the designated on-site location; bids are due November 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Bids must be submitted electronically through COMMBUYS, and the required quote attachment is a specification sheet in accordance with Specification 16749P, Section 1.3A.
