Highland Park Independent School District is seeking a pool of providers for as-needed landscaping and grounds maintenance across district facilities. - Government buyer: Highland Park Independent School District (HPISD), including its Purchasing office, Maintenance and Facilities Department, and Business Services. - OEMs and vendors: No OEMs, manufacturers, or individual vendors are named in the opportunity. - Services requested: Year-round supplemental grounds services, including mowing, edging, trimming, leaf and debris cleanup, mulching, planting, seeding and sod, aeration, dethatching, fence-line clearing, brush removal, pressure washing, irrigation repairs, tree care, stump removal, fence repair, and grounds improvements. - Pricing and assignments: The District requests labor and standard equipment rates, with materials priced separately. Each assignment requires a site inspection and project-specific proposal; an approved project proposal and purchase order govern the work. Rates remain firm for the first 12 months. - Contract structure and value: HPISD intends to select multiple providers. Work is not guaranteed and there is no minimum spend or estimated annual spend. Historical spending in the prior fiscal year was reported as $25,000; a simple term-based extrapolation suggests a potential range of $0 to $137,500, but actual spending may differ substantially. - Notable requirements: Providers must hold applicable licenses accepted by University Park, Highland Park, and Dallas; supply labor, supervision, equipment, materials, insurance, and permits; protect and clean work sites; and conduct criminal background checks for personnel with continuing duties at school locations.
