Description
This funding opportunity supports research and evaluation of programs funded under FYs 2022–2026 BJA Byrne State Crisis Intervention Program opportunities. The work will assess programs such as law enforcement crisis interventions, court-based programming, referrals to treatment for people in crisis, and extreme risk protection order programs. Applications must include both evaluability assessments (Phase I) and an evaluation of Byrne SCIP’s effectiveness (Phase II). NIJ anticipates making four awards, with at least one award per topic area.
