The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking one replacement cooling tower for Regina General Hospital’s Energy Centre. - Government buyer: Saskatchewan Health Authority, Procurement. - OEMs and acceptable manufacturer: EVAPCO is the specified basis-of-design manufacturer; Baltimore Aircoil (BAC) is identified as an acceptable equal if it meets the required performance and is no larger or heavier. - Requested equipment: One EVAPCO AT-424-5P36FT cooling tower, part number AT-424-5P36FT, to replace existing towers CT-1 through CT-4. The one-year warranty is to begin after installation and startup. - Estimated value: Approximately $500,000–$1,500,000; no solicitation value is provided.

Description

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking proposals to supply one new cooling tower for Regina General Hospital, in accordance with the referenced equipment schedule and layout drawings. The tower is intended to replace existing cooling towers CT-1 through CT-4 while retaining CT-5 and CT-6. The selected tower is to be delivered upon completion and stored on site until an installer is selected, then novated into the installing contractor’s contract. Tender/award is expected in April 2027, with installation after the 2027 cooling season.
