The Rural Community of the Miramichi River Valley is seeking a contractor to keep the Sunny Corner Fire Department site clear and accessible during winter weather. - Government buyer: Rural Community of the Miramichi River Valley, Municipal Office; contact: Tina Hayes, Clerk. - Service requested: Snow clearing and removal at the Sunny Corner Fire Station, 30 Tozer Lane, Sunny Corner, New Brunswick. - Clear the parking lot, traffic lanes, and building entrances; apply salt and/or sand as needed. - Keep the site accessible 24 hours a day for emergency response. - Contractor requirements: Provide all equipment, tools, and supplies; maintain safe working conditions and equipment; use competent operators; and promptly report equipment breakdowns. The contractor is responsible for damage caused while performing the work. - Bid information: Pricing must cover all costs. Bidders must describe available equipment, staffing, experience, and skills. Description

The Municipality of Miramichi River Valley is seeking bids for snow clearing and removal at the Sunny Corner Fire Department parking lot, including the building’s parking lot, traffic lanes, and entrances. The contractor must keep the site safe, apply salt and/or sand as needed, and ensure the parking lot remains accessible 24 hours a day for emergency response. The contract period is November 1, 2026, through May 31, 2028, with an option for the municipality to renew for one additional year. Bids are due October 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. local time and must be submitted in sealed envelopes.
