The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management announces the availability of the Proposed Notice of Sale for Gulf of America Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas One Big Beautiful Bill Act Lease Sale 4 (Lease Sale BBG4). The proposed sale information includes its size, timing, and location, along with lease stipulations, terms and conditions, minimum bids, royalty rates, and rental rates. Governors of affected States and executives of affected local governments may review and comment on the proposed sale’s size, timing, and location by December 8, 2026. Bid opening is currently scheduled for March 10, 2027.
