Description

This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. This RFI is being conducted pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 15.201(e). No contract will be awarded from this announcement and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information submitted in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the responding party’s expense.

The United States Secret Service (USSS) is seeking information from industry partners regarding their capabilities to design new armor systems, modify existing armor designs using preselected materials, and integrate approved armored solutions for automotive transportation and non-military specialty vehicles. This RFI aims to identify potential vendors and technologies that can meet USSS requirements for enhanced vehicle protection. Respondents are requested to review and address the specific objectives outlined in Section 6.0 of this document.
