Vexar mesh tube protectors must cover the root wad and extend eight inches above the soil. - Pickup and pricing: Pickup may be flexible and divided into batches by location. The vendor must provide and guarantee per-seedling pricing; nurseries more than 120 miles from the UDWR office in South Ogden must include delivery cost per seedling. - Timing: Growing is to begin by spring 2027, with seedlings ready for pickup in fall 2027. Description

The State of Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is seeking a vendor to grow and contract-propagate 10,000 shrub seedlings from seeds provided by the agency. Seedlings must be grown in PL 50 plugs, meet specified root, height, age, and Vexar mesh protector requirements, and be ready for flexible, potentially batched pickup at three project locations between October 15 and November 30, 2027; pickup may be delayed until April 1, 2028. Vendors must provide per-seedling pricing and include shipping or delivery costs per seedling if the nursery is more than 120 miles from the specified UDWR office.
