Avondale School District is seeking a turnkey structured cabling installation for its Early Childhood Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. - Buyer and opportunity: Avondale School District; Early Childhood Center Structured Cabling Project, RFP No. 2005, Bid Package T7. This is a Category 2 E-Rate project. - Requested products: Approximately 150,000 feet of RJ45 cabling, about 20,000 miscellaneous installation items (described in the Form 470 as antennas, connectors, and related components), and two racks. No single manufacturer is designated as preferred. - Notable requirements: Turnkey installation and commissioning; coordination with other trades; testing and certification of installed drops; test results and record drawings; a minimum 15-year cabling warranty; E-Rate participation and eligibility breakdown; Michigan prevailing-wage registration; and compliance with applicable project and electrical-code requirements.
