The Department of the Navy is considering temporary ASW support at Naval Station Norfolk; the attached draft scope specifies rental of three seawater pump units. - Government buyer: Department of the Navy; Naval Station Norfolk / Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY), under NAVSEA. - Procurement scope: The initial notice refers to temporary ASW chiller rentals, but the attached draft Statement of Work describes three electrically powered seawater pump units. It does not provide chiller models or quantities, so the pump requirements below are taken from the attachment. - Equipment requirements: Each pump must operate at 460/480V on a 400-amp circuit and deliver at least 400 GPM at 60–70 PSI. Units must support continuous operation and include specified suction hoses, strainer, fittings, and discharge connections. New or used equipment is acceptable, subject to inspection. - Rental and support: The contractor provides delivery and removal, preventive and corrective maintenance, and repair or replacement support within six hours of NNSY notification. Rental extensions may be made in one-week increments for up to three additional weeks; early returns and extensions are prorated. - OEMs and vendors: No manufacturers, OEMs, or vendors are named in the notice or attachment. - Other notable requirements: Equipment must be protected from weather and saltwater air, have forklift slots and a company/contact identification tag, and be supplied with operating instructions, technical information, and safety indications.
