The City of Spokane’s Wastewater Maintenance Department is seeking a two-year rebuild of two Freightliner M2106 rodder truck bodies. - Buyer: City of Spokane, Wastewater Maintenance Department. - OEM: Freightliner is the named vehicle OEM; no supplier or rebuilding contractor is named. - Base work: Rebuild two truck bodies (model M2106), one during each contract year. Work includes structural and body repairs; hydraulic, electrical, safety, lighting, HVAC, and other component replacement or repair; fabrication and installation of body components; textured lining, decals, paint, and detailing; and final assembly and testing. - Inspection requirement: Perform a Federal DOT inspection after each rebuild and provide written findings. - Optional work: Install each rebuilt body on its existing chassis, provide an additional one-year parts-and-labor warranty, and paint the cab and chassis. - Notable requirement: Reuse the existing arrow board and strobes unless replacement is requested at additional cost.

Description

The City of Spokane is soliciting bids to refurbish and rebuild the bodies of two Freightliner M2106 Rodder Trucks under a two-year contract, with one truck scheduled for work in 2026 and the other in 2027.
