The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Forest Service, is seeking sealed bids for the sale of timber from 254 acres in Okaloacoochee Slough State Forest in Hendry County, Florida. The sale includes thinning approximately 220 acres of planted south Florida slash pine and clearcutting approximately 34 acres of planted eucalyptus.
