The Village of Lemont is seeking sealed proposals for repairs to the Ed Bossert Drive bridge crossing the I&M Canal west of Lemont Road and north of Canal Street. Work includes cleaning expansion joints, removing and placing HMA surface, cleaning and painting bearings, applying bridge deck sealant, concrete surface repair, and associated construction described in the bid package and plans prepared by HR Green, Inc. Bids are due October 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time, and must be submitted to Lemont Public Works Water Department at 16680 New Avenue, Lemont, IL 60439. Proposals must include bid security equal to 10% of the total base bid; the successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds each equal to 110% of the contract price.
