Description
This funding opportunity supports the development, improvement, and/or implementation of emergency planning activities for state, Tribal, county, and local juvenile justice residential facilities. Activities are intended to help facilities protect the safety and well-being of youth and staff, keep families informed, maintain operations, and reduce facility risks during and after emergencies. The program aims to improve facilities’ ability to respond to and recover from natural, technological, or nonnatural incidents requiring a response to protect life and property.
