Description
The Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation intends to repatriate three unassociated funerary objects, identified as projectile points, under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The objects were removed from the Cascade Mountain region of Washington state prior to 1987 and were donated to the Foundation in 1987. The Foundation determined that the objects have a cultural affiliation with the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community. Repatriation may occur on or after November 9, 2026; additional written requests may be submitted to the Foundation.
