The solicitation is for replacement of the bridge deck at the Galvin Plaza bridge and vicinity at the Lincoln Tunnel in New York, New York. Work includes shielding over the existing Amtrak rail line, reinforcing the existing steel structure, installing a concrete deck, expansion joints and wearing course, and performing painting, pavement marking, signage, traffic attenuation, asbestos and lead paint removal, traffic maintenance, and work-area protection. Work will be performed as directed by the Engineer under work orders issued by the Engineer. Bidders must demonstrate experience on at least two similar projects in the past five years and at least one project on or near a railroad requiring rail safety and coordination.
