Description
The EPA is approving Maryland state implementation plan revisions establishing statewide reasonably available control technology requirements for municipal waste combustors. The regulations limit emissions of oxides of nitrogen (NOx) from municipal waste combustors in Maryland. The action approves MWC-related controls and definitions in part of Maryland SIP revision #18-04 and approves all portions of SIP revision #20-10. It is taken under the Clean Air Act and is effective November 9, 2026.
