The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is seeking qualified nominees for its Advisory Council for the Elimination of Tuberculosis (ACET).

Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is seeking nominations for membership on the Advisory Council for the Elimination of Tuberculosis (ACET). The council consists of 10 experts, including its Chair, with expertise in areas such as public health, epidemiology, immunology, infectious disease, pulmonary disease, pediatrics, tuberculosis, microbiology, and preventive health care delivery. ACET advises HHS and CDC on tuberculosis elimination policies, strategies, technologies, research priorities, and progress. Nominations are due January 4, 2027, and must include a current curriculum vitae, at least one recommendation letter from someone not employed by HHS, and a biographical sketch of 500 words or fewer.
