Description
Howard Community College is seeking proposals from qualified Tellabs-certified or Tellabs-experienced integrators to replace its existing Motorola Passive Optical Network (PON) equipment with Tellabs equipment. The work includes a redundant OLT architecture and integration of IEEE 802.1X network access control. The contract is firm fixed price, with performance from Notice to Proceed through written final acceptance and a minimum one-year workmanship warranty. A mandatory in-person pre-proposal conference and site walk is scheduled for October 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.; proposals are due November 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. local time.
