UMSL SSB modernization and expansion furniture package with delivery and installation

The University of Missouri is seeking a complete furniture package for UMSL’s SSB modernization and expansion, including delivery, installation, and storage. - Buyer and project - University of Missouri, through UM Procurement, for the University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL); project covers renovated levels 2–3 of the SSB building and a new addition. - OEMs and brands - KI, HON, Stylex, Encore, Allsteel, ERG International, National, Global, Safco, Clarus, and 9 to 5 are named in the furniture schedule or clarifications. - AMQ and STC are also referenced in the available notice materials. - Furniture requested - The schedule includes chairs, stools, lounge seating, classroom and conference tables, private offices, desks, shelving, storage, power towers, trash cans, and mobile markerboards. See the line-item list for quantities and part numbers. - Notable quantities include 200 KI classroom chairs (DN2100), 121 task chairs, 188 guest chairs, 74 KI classroom tables (PIFR2460C), 87 private offices, eight Clarus mobile markerboards, and seven private offices with guest tables. - The schedule identifies six 9 to 5 lounge chairs (9104). The O-4 open-office grouping is one configuration for five workspaces, each at least 48 inches wide, with a total length of 242 inches and one height-adjustable desk. - Some products are designated no-alternates; other items are open-basis-of-design. Refer to the specifications and plans for complete configurations and features. - Services and notable requirements - Provide delivery and installation in one phase, plus monthly-priced storage. Include applicable prevailing-wage labor rates. - A minimum 10-year equipment warranty is required; lifetime coverage is preferred. The bidder must provide a PowerPoint presentation and have a Missouri-based dealership and installer within 30 miles of UMSL. - Other requested fee categories include design, administration, and miscellaneous fees.
