Chemung County Sheriff’s Office Fleet Maintenance and Repair

Chemung County is seeking a contractor to maintain and repair the Sheriff’s Office vehicle fleet under RFP-2910. - Government buyer: Chemung County, through the Chemung County-City of Elmira Purchasing Department, for the Sheriff’s Office. - Requested service: Scheduled preventive maintenance based on vehicle use, as-needed repairs, and New York State inspections for each fleet automobile. - Service requirements: Provide priority service and minimize travel time and vehicle downtime. Do not outsource mechanical work without prior written approval. - Reporting: Provide monthly and annual reports for each vehicle covering its identity, mileage, work performed, required labor hours and labor costs, parts costs, and total service or repair costs. - Fleet details: No vehicle makes, models, quantities, or parts are specified.
