NOAA intends to award ANG Signal a sole-source order for DOC HCHB network operations support and modernization services. - Award and acquisition: The Department of Commerce’s NOAA Acquisition and Grants Office, Corporate Services Acquisition Division, intends to issue ANG Signal a firm-fixed-price order under GSA MAS contract 47QTCA24D00E4. - Services required: Provide continuous Tier 1–3 support for the legacy DOC Network Operations Center (NOC), data center operations, and cable plant services. - Modernization work: Plan, engineer, install, configure, test, and migrate in-scope equipment to integrate the new N-Wave equipment and transition services to an N-Wave-centric NOC. - Sole-source rationale: The justification cites ANG Signal’s specialized knowledge and the risks that delay could pose to modernization of end-of-life network equipment. The justification attachment is redacted. - Estimated value: $8,226,672. - Period of performance: Contemplated from August 18, 2026, through August 17, 2028, for a period not to exceed two years; no option years are specified. - Products and quantities: No specific products, part numbers, or quantities are listed.
Description
The requirement is to provide continuous Tier 1-3 support for the legacy DOC Network Operations Center (NOC) environment, Datacenter Operations, and Cable Plant service and to provide specialized network integration and implementation services to accelerate the modernization and integration of the DOC NOC into the existing N-Wave network architecture. This requires complex network implementation, configuration, and validation. The contemplated total period of performance is not to exceed 8/18/2026 through 8/17/2028. This will allow the N-Wave Program Office to accomplish its mission of urgently mitigating critical network operational risk due to End-of-Life (EoL) equipment.
