Matane Courthouse Mechanical, Security, and Interior Renovation

SQI is seeking a contractor to renovate and upgrade mechanical, interior, and security systems at the Matane courthouse. - Government buyer: SQI — Direction immobilière du Bas-Saint-Laurent et de la Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine. - Requested construction and building-system work: - Upgrade mechanical systems and install ventilation and air-conditioning. - Implement building automation and security systems. - Partially renovate the interior. - Upgrade emergency buttons and install access control in part of the building. - Replace camera surveillance in the detention area. - Schedule: Complete the work within 42 weeks of the contract date or written authorization. - No OEMs, product brands, vendors, part numbers, or item quantities are specified.

Description

Construction work at the Matane courthouse includes upgrading mechanical systems and installing ventilation and air-conditioning systems. The work also includes new building automation and security systems, partial interior renovations, upgraded emergency buttons, access control in part of the building, and replacement of the detention-area camera surveillance system. The courthouse is approximately 1,325 m² and was built in 1921 and 1940. The work must be completed within 42 weeks from the contract date or written authorization.
