No UTV manufacturer or reseller is specified; offerors must identify the proposed manufacturer and model. - Products requested: - One new, current-model-year crew-cab UTV with an enclosed winter cab, seating and seat belts for at least four, and 4WD/AWD. - One compatible snow-track system and mounting kit if the offered UTV cannot use the Government-owned Polaris Prospector Pro 2.0 system. The Government-owned tracks are P/N 2890034 and the mount kit is P/N 2889425; if compatible, the track-system line is priced at $0. - Key requirements: Maximum manufacturer-published curb weight of 3,000 lb and maximum length of 188 in. with tracks installed; hard cab doors and roof, windows, and tip-out windshield with wiper and defrost; installed winch rated for at least 4,500 lb; rear receiver hitch, winch-compatible front bumper, underbody skid protection, integrated GPS/navigation, and operational rear camera. - Compatibility note: The Government-owned Polaris track system fits Polaris Ranger XP 1000 models and does not fit Ranger 1500 models. The delivered UTV must be assembled, have required items installed, and be ready for use. - Use and delivery: For California Cooperative Snow Survey work on the Sequoia National Forest, including over-snow operations. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1240LP27Q0001 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for one (1) crew cab utility task vehicle (UTV) with a full winter cab conversion and snow track compatibility to support California Cooperative Snow Survey (CCSS) operations on the Sequoia National Forest. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 336999. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees.
