The General Services Administration is seeking 144 new PTAC units for delivery to ZIP code 92136, with Amana model DHP123J25BA as the brand-name reference or an equal product. - Government buyer: General Services Administration (GSA), Office of Shared Services Delivery, Direct Demand Contract Solutions Division. - Requested product: 144 packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC) units, Amana DHP123J25BA or equal. No other vendors are named. - Key technical requirements: Units must match existing Amana equipment in form, fit, and function; fit a standard 42 x 16-inch sleeve; and work with existing electrical and mechanical infrastructure. Units must be new, not refurbished or remanufactured. - Cooling: 12,000 BTU at 208V or 11,800 BTU at 230V; minimum EER 10.5; R32 refrigerant. - Electric heat: 7,800 BTU at 208V or 6,300 BTU at 230V, with a maximum 2.5 kW heater. - Electrical: 208/230V, 15A, NEMA 615 plug, with cord included; cooling and heating must both be 15A. - Dimensions: 42 x 20.5 x 16 inches; maximum net weight 111 pounds. Front cover included; sleeve and exterior grille excluded. - Controls and features: internal thermostat, automatic restart, freeze protection, two fan motors, and two fan speeds; no Wi-Fi compatibility or remote control. - Minimum warranty: five years for parts and compressor/sealed system, and one year for labor. - Delivery and shipping: Delivery is requested within 30 days. The solicitation also requests FOB Destination pricing and the vendor’s best delivery lead time. Shipments must meet MIL-STD-129 marking and labeling requirements; actual delivery addresses may be provided with the purchase order. - Notice update: The revised RFQ no longer includes the small-business-set-aside statement found in the earlier notice.

Description

The General Services Administration, Office of Shared Services Delivery, Direct Demand Contract Solutions Division, is posting the Request for Quote (RFQ) for PTAC Units, Amana P/N DHP123J25BA or equal.

Delivery location will be within the Continental United States and shipment must be compliant with MIL-STD-129 marking and labeling. Shipments may be shipped through consolidation points, for ultimate OCONUS consignee. MIL-STD-129 must be adhered to prevent frustrated shipments. See the RFQ for delivery city and zip code, however, full delivery addresses will be provided on awarded Purchase Order(s). The awarded vendor must be registered or willing to register with EDI or OMS vendor portal in order to receive orders electronically.

Prices are requested on a FOB Destination basis with the vendor’s best delivery lead time. A vendor meeting all administrative compliance requirements of the RFQ (submitted by the solicitation close date and time) will move forward to the final evaluation factor: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable.
