NOAA is seeking a small-business contractor to design and paint a durable indoor mural at its Aircraft Operations Center in Lakeland, Florida. - Government buyer: U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO), Aircraft Operations Center (AOC). - Requirement: One firm-fixed-price service, CLIN 0001, “OMAO Airport Wall Mural.” No OEM, product manufacturer, or vendor is named. - Mural scope: Create a realistic mural for the AOC front stairwell that depicts NOAA’s mission, emphasizing OMAO aviation and marine operations and their support of NOAA science. - The primary wall is approximately 450 sq. ft.; about 100 additional sq. ft. of adjacent stairwell surfaces may also be included. - The contractor provides design, labor, travel, materials, equipment, supplies, safety equipment, and suitable elevated-access equipment. Areas excluded from the mural must be painted. - Notable requirements: Submit a scaled mock-up or high-resolution renderings with the quote, incorporate design feedback, and obtain NOAA AOC Leadership approval before permanent application. Provide a minimum five-year warranty. - Eligibility: Total small-business set-aside.
