The awarded contractor must provide statutory, performance, and maintenance bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount. Bidders must have the City’s current Master Specifications or acknowledge in writing that they have read and will comply with the City’s 2018 specifications.

Description

The City of Emporia is soliciting sealed bids for improvements to the Bison Exhibit. The base bid schedule includes mobilization, excavation and earthwork, aggregate base, concrete footings and wall, a precast concrete structure, and temporary slope and sediment barriers. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for October 20, 2026, and bids are due October 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Bid documents are available from the City Engineer’s Office for a nonrefundable $30 fee, with additional fees for UPS delivery or an electronic copy.
