Northern Wasco County People’s Utility District is seeking contractors to build FTTP fiber infrastructure for QLife in Wasco County and nearby areas. - Government buyer: Northern Wasco County People’s Utility District (NWCPUD), Purchasing Department; Broadband & IT is also identified in the project materials. The work supports QLife. - Procurement: Fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) construction under District-issued work orders, including aerial and underground construction, fiber placement and splicing, service drops, and customer-premises equipment installation. The initial service line item is 1 EA; work quantities are estimates and authorized through individual work orders. - Zone 1 planning estimates: 37,047 ft of aerial strand and fiber, 5,664 ft of aerial overlash, 97,391 ft of aerial service drops, 2,269 ft of underground service drops, 174 splice points/storage loops, 59 anchors/down guys, 300 existing-pole attachments, and 947 ONT installations. Description

Northern Wasco County PUD is seeking licensed and qualified contractors experienced in aerial and underground Fiber to the Premises (FTTP) construction. The work includes installation of service drops and associated network equipment at the premises. Proposals must be submitted electronically through OregonBuys, and attendance at the virtual pre-proposal conference is mandatory. Proposals are due November 6, 2026, at 4:00 PM.
